Laughs Heard Round the World

Did you know that there’s a global celebration of laughter going on? World Laughter Day, established in 1998, occurs on the first Sunday of May and aims to promote the health benefits of laughing on a regular basis.

On World Laughter Day each country celebrates laughter in its own special way. In Japan, for example, laughter yoga combines
communal hilarity with yogic breathing techniques. See some testimonials in this video:
